Prizm IV finds daughter's
engagement ring!
Dear White's,
I recently visited my daughter and her family. I always carry my
Prizm IV with me just in case.
Well, we were discussing hunting an old house site on their land
and she asked me if I could try to find her engagement ring that
she had lost three years ago while wiping snow off her truck
windshield. She showed me the area where she thought it might
have come off her hand. I began to sweep the area and after
about five minutes I got a strong signal in the nickel gold ring
range. I pinpointed the spot and my daughter began to dig.
After digging down about two inches she stood up smiling with
the ring in her hand. I have had many exciting hunts and some
very interesting finds but none of these compared with the joy I
saw on her face nor the happiness I felt as she gave me a big
hug saying "thank you daddy, thank you." It was the best
experience I have had detecting.
I would like to thank White's Electronics for making an
excellent detector in the Prizm IV. I have owned three others
but the Prizm IV is my favorite for ease of use and performance.
Thank you.

Prizm IV wows a first time
detector owner!

Dear Whites,
I'm writing this to share some of my excitement and fun of using
my new Prizm IV. Every since I've known about detectors, I
wanted one of my own. I met a Whites dealer at a show in
Bolivar, New York. We talked quite a bit about a detector that
would best suit my searching needs. Wow! Am I glad I did!
My son and grandson went with me to pick up my new Prizm IV and
have the dealer go over the operation one more time. After
dropping my son and grandson off at their home, we decided to
try out the detector just around the porch. A few coins at
first, of course, and then we heard a loud, sharp signal coming
through. About 6 inches deep lay an old counter of some kind. We
think the railroad men may have used this type of counter for
totaling up bad ties while inspecting their section of track.
The outside numbers go from 0 to 10 in a clockwise direction.
The smaller inside dial goes counter clockwise and is numbered
from 10 to 100. We thought the counter was a real nice recovery.
When I went home and parked my truck in the usual spot, I only
had to carry my new detector to the house. I decided to search
the path to the back porch steps. About 4 feet up the path, and
about 6 inches deep, I recovered an Indian-style sterling silver
ring with a couple of gem stones on it. A couple of days later,
and after family and friends heard about my recoveries, they
came to see my detector in action. Out to the front lawn. We
located many coins of different denominations until we got
another sharp signal. Four inches deep lay a 14 carat gold
wedding band.
I'm still a novice with my detector, but even so, I've recovered
6 wheaties, 3 nickels, 10 dimes, 1 quarter, 36 Lincolns, an old
military button, handles from a motorcycle, along with the
counter and two rings! All this within a week of buying my first
detector. What's next?
